megaman x5

Set an indeterminate amount of time after the events of Mega Man X4, a new plot to destroy the Maverick Hunters is hatched by Sigma, who has been revived again (as in X4, it is unknown who revived him or how). Sigma, after conducting research on the origin and design of Zero, decides to discover how to unlock Zero's true power, hopefully destroying X in the process. Sigma attacks the Maverick Hunters directly, intending to lose. When he does, he spreads the Maverick virus across the Earth, throwing it into chaos. Meanwhile, a Reploid mercenary named Dynamo is hired by Sigma to make the space colony Eurasia collide with Earth. The Hunters have only 16 hours to stop the collision.

In order to prevent Eurasia from striking the planet, the Hunters pursue two options of attack. The first option is to fire a powerful cannon called Enigma at Eurasia, hopefully vaporizing it. If the Enigma shot fails, the second option is to launch a space shuttle and pilot it into the colony, destroying it. To maximize their chances, X and Zero are dispatched to collect parts for the two devices. The necessary parts to upgrade the Enigma and shuttle are held by eight Reploids and Mavericks), and X and Zero must defeat them to claim the parts. Further complicating matters, Dynamo repeatedly attacks the Hunters' base during the course of the game, forcing X and Zero to waste valuable time fighting him off.

Whether the Enigma and shuttle succeed or fail is randomly determined by the game, although the Enigma's chances of working successfully are low even with all its parts, while the shuttle has a much higher probability of succeeding assuming all of the parts are collected. If the Enigma succeeds, the Hunters can proceed to hunt for the cause of the virus without fighting the remaining Mavericks (though it is still recommended to do so, in order to get weapons and items from the Maverick). If the shuttle (piloted by Zero) succeeds, the hunt for the cause of the virus begins as well. If the shuttle fails or if your time expires, the colony crashes, nearly destroying the planet; Zero then is infected by the virus and goes Maverick, removing him from the game as a playable character.

In either case, once the location of the virus' origin is discovered, the Hunters must investigate it. X (and Zero if he's still playable) penetrate a bizarre underground fortress, based on levels from previous games and featuring enemies from the distant past. Finally in the third stage of the fortress, X and Zero cross paths, and mutual suspicion and mistrust leads to a duel between the heroes (which had been foreshadowed ever since the end of Mega Man X2).

After the duel, the story diverges slightly. If Zero went Maverick, then he sacrifices himself to save X from Sigma, and X continues on alone to get revenge on Sigma in the final stage. If Zero did not go Maverick, he saves X and himself from Sigma, and both heroes have a chance to confront Sigma in the final battle. There are three possible endings for the game; X has two and Zero has one.

If Zero went Maverick, X defeats Sigma, but is badly damaged. He recovers, but all of his memories of Zero are deliberately erased by a mysterious person. This is considered the "bad" ending, and is treated as non-canon.

If Zero did not go Maverick, Sigma decides to make the Hunters' victory for naught by taking them down with him. X tries to save Zero but is ambushed by Sigma and both Hunters are critically damaged. Zero manages to finish Sigma off, then the endings diverge again. If Zero defeated Sigma, he reflects on his origin and life before dying. If X defeated Sigma, he inherits Zero's beam saber and continues to fight as a Maverick Hunter. This is considered the "true" ending.

It is interesting to note that though the manual says that the Repliforce was wiped out, the Skiver has the Repliforce symbol on his head, and the Repli-air force is mentioned as still being there.

megaman x4

The gameplay is similar to the previous installments of the X series, but there are some important changes:

At the beginning of the game, the player chooses to play either as X or Zero. Unlike future games in the Mega Man X series, the player is committed to the choice throughout the game (i.e., he cannot switch to the other character at any time). Though both of them go through the same stages, they operate differently, and get different challenges from the terrain. They must avoid obstacles like falling debris and spikes, and destroy enemy robots to reach the end of the stages.

X wields a plasma cannon (X-Buster) on his arm that he uses to attack foes from a distance. It can be charged to fire stronger shots. When he defeats a boss, he gains a new weapon for his buster. These weapons have limited ammo, displayed by a meter next to his health. In some stages, X can find capsules that contain upgrades that greatly enhance his capabilities.

Zero is more melee-oriented than X, using a saber (Z-Saber) rather than his usual arm cannon (Z-Buster). Its power and accuracy compensate for his lack of range. Not all of his moves are weapon-based— rather than acquiring weapons from bosses, he learns "techniques" such as the air-dash (Hienkyaku) and double-jump (Kuuenbu). However, Zero cannot upgrade any of his body parts in this game.

Two new Tanks have been added: a Weapon Tank, which will fill all of your Special Weapons up; and an EX Tank, which increases your default lives from three to five, should you have to start over or reset.

This is the first X game where your characters have conversations with the bosses before the battle begins, rather than the boss simply entering the room and attacking immediately. For this reason, there is no music specifically used to accompany the boss's entrance, as was the case with the first three games.

harvest moon back to nature

Years ago, the main character, Jack, came to his grandfather's farm for the summer. His grandfather was too busy taking care of the farm to spend much time with the boy, but the boy was free to explore the town and the forest as he wished. Jack befriended his grandfather's puppy and met a little girl his own age with whom he became close friends.

When the summer was over, the boy had to go back home, but he promised the little girl that he would return someday. However, as time went by, he forgot her.

When Jack's grandfather died years later, Jack had grown into a young man, and he came to the town again to take over the farm. The mayor talked things over with the village, and they had decided that Jack could stay as the rightful owner if he could restore the farm back to its original state. But if Jack couldn't restore the farm, or wasn't able to get along with the villagers, he would have to leave.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories

The story begins in Ancient Egypt, with the prince of the dynasty (Atem), who often spends time at the dueling ground playing against other villagers, and his two friends, Jono and Teana. One night, Atem escapes Simon Muran, his tutor and advisor, to visit the dueling grounds, where he mets up with Tea and a few villagers. After some games, Tea tells him of a festival occurring in the Plaza, and they leave to see it. They watch the mages march around a shrine, holding flags, and Tea comments that the ceremonies are starting to seem darker, assuming that it is the work of the "detestable" high mage Heishin, a sorcerer who leads a group of independent high mages. Teana spots Jono dueling, and greets him just as Jono's opponent, Priest Seto, defeats him. Priest Seto mocks Jono's ineptitude in dueling, and Jono and Teana tell Seto that Atem could easily defeat him. Seto and Atem are about to duel when one of Heishin's aides tells Seto that Heishin requests his presence. Seto agrees to duel Atem later at the dueling grounds. Jono, Teana, and Atem return to the grounds, where Atem has a quick duel with Jono and defeats him. Seto returns, flanked by aides, and duels Atem, putting on quite a display of ability before Atem claims victory. Seto recognizes that Atem is the prince (note that none of his dueling friends have ever realized this) and says he will meet Atem again. Atem leaves and returns to the palace and is herded off to bed by Simon Muran. As Muran walks away, a guard tells Muran that Heishin has invaded the palace, wielding some sort of strange magic. Muran starts looking for him and finds Heishin destroying the stone columns of a walkway. Heishin confronts Muran and tells him that he has discovered the Dark Power, and uses the Millennium Rod (or a staff that looks almost exactly like it) to blast Muran away. Meanwhile, the Queen wakes Atem and tells him to run, just as Priest Seto captures her and his aides take her away. Seto tells Atem that Heishin holds the King and Queen captive, and that to run away would result in their execution. Seto then demands the Millennium Puzzle in exchange for a getaway. Atem refuses, and Muran runs up behind him, looking beaten and weak, carrying the Puzzle and telling him to run. Atem runs, but Heishin corners him, and forces him to duel for the fate of the Puzzle. However, Heishin defeats Atem (the player will continue to duel Heishin until he or she loses), and Muran tells Atem to shatter the Puzzle, even attempting to subdue Heishin. Atem smashes it against a wall, and Muran uses some magic to seal himself and Atem into the puzzle. Muran tells him that Atem's soul is now locked inside the puzzle, and that the only way to release it is to reassemble it. Muran tells Atem to rest, assuring him that someone will eventually complete it.

A millennnia later the puzzle is solved by Yugi Moto. Yugi has a dream about the Puzzle's contents before entering a Duel Monsters Tournament hosted by the Kaiba Corporation. After defeating the preliminary rounds by dueling and defeating Rex Raptor, Weevil Underwood, Mai Valentine, and Bandit Keith (in that order), he takes a break. Between the preliminaries and the finals, Yugi and Joey are talking when Yugi spots Shadi, and tells Shadi about the dream. Shadi suggests that Yugi meet Atem through his Millennium Key, and transports Yugi into the Puzzle. Yugi meets Atem, and Atem mentally tells Yugi that he wants to return to his own world. Atem gives Yugi six blank cards and disappears. After waking Shadi asks what happened, and Yugi shows him the cards, but neither of them can deduce what their purpose is. Joey informs Yugi that the finals are about to begin, and they depart. The first finalist is Shadi, and after Yugi defeats him, the Millennium Key and Scales are forced into the blank cards. Shadi theorizes that the Millennium items were drawn together so that Yugi could acquire all of them. Yugi then proceeds to defeat Bakura, Pegasus, and Isis (Ishizu) to acquire their items. In the last round of the finals, Yugi faces Kaiba, who, oddly enough, possess the Millennium Rod. Yugi defeats Kaiba and unites all of the Items, which allows Atem to travel into his Egyptian past.

Shimon Muran awakes Atem in the puzzle, and theorizes that the boy, Yugi, is a representation of the future of Atem. Muran then tells Atem of the current situation. Heishin and the High Mages have taken control of six of the Millennium Items, and rules over the Metropolis. He expands his kingdom by constructing shrines guarded by the five High Mages: Martis, Secmeton, Atenza, Kepura, and Anubisius. Each shrine contains one of the Items, while the Millennium Rod is guarded by Heishin and Seto. Muran warns Atem that the way to defeat them is to find the Forbidden Ruins, and passes away. Atem is transported back to the Shrine of Glory, which is abandoned. He then travels into the old city, now known as the Metropolis, and ventures into the old dueling grounds, which are destroyed. Jono sees him and is jubilant that he survived, and brings him back to the new dueling ground, where he is re-united with Teana and the other villagers, who are hiding underground. Jono tells Atem how the Mages destroyed the card shop and dueling grounds because the villages couldn't locate him. Everyone is relived that Atem survived, and Jono briefs Atem on the political situation, and how the Mages, led by Heishin, govern the land from the Vast Shrine of Darkness. Atem leaves and visits the old palace, which is completely destroyed. He meets a soldier inside, who Atem defeats in a duel and starts searching the room. He finds a map that depicts an area known as the Forbidden Ruins. He travels to the Valley of the Kings, where he meets Sadin, a tomb-keeper who is related to Shadi. Sadin takes the map and directs him to the Forbidden Ruins, where Sadin points out a map and drawing on opposite walls. After viewing the drawing and ascertaining nothing, Atem looks at the Map while Seto sneaks up behind them and tells them that the Map reveals the location of the High Mages and the Millennium Items. After Seto urges Atem to defeat the High Mages, Sadin yells at him to leave and advises Atem to proceed with caution, since Seto is an enemy and any positive action on Seto's part could be equally dangerous.

Atem defeats High Mages Martis of the Desert Shrine (who duels on a Wasteland terrain) and takes the item he guards. Atem then defeats High Mage Atenza (who duels on a Mountain terrain) and captures his Item. He decides to take a break at the Hidden Dueling Grounds, and discovers that Teana was kidnapped by Seto. Atem and Jono head to the Dark Shrine, which is unguarded, and storm the building to discover a labyrinth guarded by a Mage. Atem duels and defeats him, and tries to navigate the labyrinth, only to constantly open the wrong doors and duel more mages (at which point Jono says "Y'know...I think we're lost"). Atem finally finds the correct door, and finds Seto and Heishin with some aides, holding down Teana. Heishin briefly contemplates the existence of the Prince and the Puzzle, and commands Seto to duel Atem and secure the Puzzle, which would be Seto's reward for victory. Seto drags Teana into a secret room and duels Atem, using incredibly strong monsters (with attack powers of 3000+) and strong magic cards before finally losing to Atem for the 2nd time. Seto gloats, stating that the High Mages won't stand a chance against Atem and departs. Teana thanks Jono and Atem for the rescue, and as they travel back to the Hidden Dueling Grounds, wonders why Seto was gloating after his loss, remarking that he "seemed to have a different agenda", while Jono tells Atem to be cautious as they part ways. Atem finds and defeats High Mages Secmeton, Kepura, and Anubisius to gain a total of 6 out of 7 Millennium Items. Seto then sneaks up behind Atem again and tells him to defeat Heishin by accessing the now unguarded Dark Shrine. After returning to the Hidden Dueling Grounds, the villagers and Jono and Teana congratulate Atem on his victories and hope for a better future.

He then heads for the Dark Shrine located north of the dynasty. Seto shows up in the grand hall, and shows Atem a hidden door that leads directly to Heishin's throne. Seto also warns Atem that Heishin is guarded by mages who have sworn to defend Heishin to the death. Atem passes through the door and is accosted by Neku and Sebek, whom he duels and defeats on a Darkness terrain. Finally, Heishin enters and climatically duels Atem for the second time, playing on a Darkness terrain with cards with attack powers of 3500-3750. Atem overwhelms him and Heishin is promptly knocked unconscious. Seto enters the room brandishing the Millennium Rod, stating that all of the Items have been gathered in one place, and should be brought to the Forbidden Ruins. Seto finally reveals his hand, stating that he only encouraged Atem to gather the items to save Seto the trouble of doing it himself. Seto then pushes a false stone, revealing a hidden chamber with a statue with the Darknite. Seto then challenges Atem a duel, each betting their collection of Items. Seto initially gains a lead with his multiple Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragons, Gate Guardians, and Meteor Black Dragons, but Atem eventually defeats him. Just as Atem is about to decide whether or not to keep or destroy the Items, Heishin appears, grabs Seto, and motions a sword at his neck, threatening to kill Seto if Atem fails to hand over the Items. Atem reluctantly gives them to Heishin, who places them in the statue, causing the Darknite to be summoned. Heishin commands Darknite to obey, but the Darknite refuses, and since Heishin lacked the Item to prove his authority, Darknite locks him in a card and incinerates him. Just as Darknite is about to do the same with Seto and Atem, Atem shows Darknite the card Yugi used to acquire the Millennium Items, proving that they had them (or did at one point). Darknite agrees to duel Atem for his survival, under the conditions that Darknite depart if Atem wins. Atem defeats Darknite's monsters and superior spells and traps quickly, but Darknite does not uphold his end of the deal and transforms into Nitemare. Nitemare challenges Atem to another duel, and uses a combination of Seto's excellent monsters and Darknite' superior spells and traps. After a long and harrowing duel, Nitemare is finally defeated. Seto escapes and is never seen again. Atem orders the Forbidden Ruins buried, and claims the rightful throne, leading his kingdom for thousands of peaceful and prosperous years.

digimon world 3

Junior, and his friends Ivy and Teddy, log-in to "Digimon Online", where Ivy renames herself "Kail". Soon after Junior arrives, the players are trapped in the game by an error in the system. MAGAMI's "Game Master" publicly assures the players that the situation is under control, and blames the incident on the hacker, Lucky Mouse. Junior proceeds with his adventure as normal and travels to the A.o.A-controlled West Sector, and after defeating the real leader, travels to a secret base of Lucky Mouse, who reveals himself to be Kail's long-lost brother and an agent working against the A.o.A., Kurt, who reveals that MAGAMI is working for the A.o.A, but soon the A.o.A arrive and threaten to turn Kail into Oinkmon, if Kurt doesn't give the Vemmon Digi-egg to the A.o.A. This results in kurt turned into Oinkmon and the Vemmon Digi-egg stolen. Junior leads an attack on the Admin Center, which results in the Game Master being defeated and interrogated. Junior uses a network break to transport himself to the Amaterasu Server, where he defeats two of the A.o.A.'s chiefs and learns more about their plans. He returns to Asuka, defeats the fourth leader, and uses an emergency teleport system to reach MAGASTA, but is unable to prevent the Juggernaut from being unleashed. The Juggernaut is then used by Vemmon to digivolve to Destromon.

Junior returns to the Amaterasu Server to defeat the final two chiefs, and gains access to Amaterasu City. He leads a fresh attack on the Amaterasu Admin Center, leading to the MAGAMI President being defeated. Junior then uses the central computer to destroy Destromon, before returning to Asuka to ask Airdramon to help him in lifting the virus which is affecting most of the players by transforming them into Oinkmon. Before long, the Oinkmon virus returns and strikes most of the players, with only Junior and Kail surviving untouched. Junior is challenged by an entity calling himself Lord Megadeath. Junior then travels to to a military satellite, Gunslinger, to challenge Lord Megadeath. Lord Megadeath is defeated, but succeeds in his project of creating Snatchmon. Snatchmon slays Megadeath and merges with the Gunslinger to become Galacticmon. Junior defeats him.

Three months later, Junior returns to the Amaterasu Server, where, as is revealed in the PAL and Japanese versions of the game, four new Server Leaders have been established and Kurt is the new MAGAMI President and World Champion.

digimon world 2

Digimon World 2 has vastly different gameplay from its predecessor, Digimon World, which focused on raising Digimon like pets, as it is a dungeon crawler. The player explores vast labyrinths dubbed "Domains", inside a tank called a "Digi-Beetle" (Akira's Digi-Beetle has the default name of "Gunner", though like Akira himself, the player has the option of naming the vehicle, which can receive various upgrades throughout the game). These dungeons are filled with various things, such as many types of traps (including Land Mines, energy fields called "Electro-Spores", giant stones, acid floors, among others), treasure chests, and most importantly, enemy Digimon.

Most traps can be disposed of by items that can be purchased at stores found across the game, and enemy Digimon can be befriended with "gift" items. However, the Digi-Beetle has a limited inventory, requiring careful management of items.

Typically, at the end of each Domain, lies a boss, whether it be a lone Digimon, or another Tamer with a team of them. After defeating the Boss, the player may exit the Domain by means of an "Exit Portal" found near the Boss' location.

digimon world

The storyline focuses on a human brought to File City on File Island by Jijimon to save the island. Digimon have been losing their memories and becoming feral and the city has fallen into disarray. The goal of the player, who is represented by a young boy whose name is given as "Hiro/Hero" (this is a common Japanese naming convention for RPG protagonists), is to save the island by helping Digimon recover their memory and return to the city.

As it came before the anime in Japan, it is very strictly based on the Virtual Pets. The gameplay revolves around raising a single Digimon from its Digitama form, hatching into a Fresh, up through In-Training, Rookie, Champion, and with work, Ultimate. A Digimon partner will die with age, and return to an egg eventually, so the player has to raise it again.

Fans of the anime will be familiar with the sixth stage, Mega, however this game was made only shortly after the Pendulum series of pets, which introduced Mega level.

To raise a Digimon partner, the player must train it, feed it, let it rest and take it to the bathroom.

The other main part of gameplay is battle. The player's partner Digimon fight the Digimon that have become aggressive due to a crisis on File Island. Partner Digimon begin the game with a few basic skills, but acquire more as they progress in levels through the game.

The PAL region's variant cover art features the seven initial chosen Digimon from Digimon Adventure. The group includes Gomamon, who is otherwise completely absent from this game.

kingdom hearts 2

Kingdom Hearts II begins one year after Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Sora, Donald and Goofy have been asleep for the past year to regain their lost memories. Meanwhile, Roxas is trapped in a virtual simulation of Twilight Town created by DiZ so that Roxas, the Nobody of Sora,[20] may merge with his original self to restore Sora's power.[21] This is done as part of DiZ's revenge on Organization XIII.[22][23] DiZ's plans are threatened when Organization XIII's Nobodies infiltrate the virtual town, but Roxas finally merges with Sora. Sora, Donald and Goofy wake up in the real Twilight Town and King Mickey Mouse and Yen Sid send them on another journey. Their goal is to find Riku and stop the plans of Organization XIII, who control the Nobodies—the body and soul left over when a heart is turned into a Heartless. Sora also receives a new set of clothes that allow him to fuse with party members to gain special abilities, known as Drive Form. Afterwards, Maleficent is resurrected and joins with Pete to continue her quest for power.

Sora travels to many Disney-themed worlds, both old and new, and resolves the troubles caused by Organization XIII, the Heartless, Maleficent and Pete, and local villains. Meanwhile, Kairi is kidnapped by Organization XIII. During a visit to Hollow Bastion, they again meet King Mickey, who reveals the true nature of Ansem, the antagonist of Kingdom Hearts. The Ansem who Sora defeated was actually the Heartless of Xehanort, a student of Ansem the Wise. Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII, reveals himself to be the Nobody of Xehanort.[24][25] Organization XIII's plan is revealed: they seek the power of Kingdom Hearts, which is the sum of all the hearts that Sora released by destroying the Heartless with his Keyblade.[26] Sora then revisits the worlds to solve lingering problems and new complications, while seeking a path to Organization XIII's base of operations.

Through a passageway in the virtual Twilight Town, Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive at the World That Never Was, the headquarters of Organization XIII, with Kingdom Hearts looming overhead. There, Sora finds Kairi and Riku, who reveals the nature of Sora's and Roxas' relationship. Mickey meets DiZ, who reveals himself to be Ansem the Wise.[27] Ansem the Wise uses a device that dissipates some of Kingdom Hearts' power, but a system overload causes the machine to explode and kill Ansem.[28] At the top of Organization XIII's castle, Sora and his friends battle Xemnas, who uses the remnants of Kingdom Hearts to power his multiple forms.[29] After Xemnas' death, Sora and Riku are reunited with their friends at Destiny Islands, their home.[30] The game concludes as Sora, Kairi and Riku read a mysterious letter stamped with King Mickey's seal, the contents of which are hidden from the player.
